BFI LFF Day 8

Day 8 had Premiere Scene's own shining light, Claire Bueno, double check her composure as we spoke to international superstar, George Clooney (The American, Up in the Air).

Clooney, absent from last year's BFI London Film Festival, was on hand to promote the first of his current two projects - The Ides of March. Clooney wrote the script and produced the movie with long-time collaborator and business partner, Grant Heslov. In addition to acting as the Presidential candidate Mike Morris, Clooney also directed the film.

The film is based on Baue Willimon's acclaimed play Farragut North. Rising-star Ryan Gosling (The Notebook, Drive) plays the central role of Stephen Myers, a junior political campaign manager doing what he can to climb the ladder.
