Drive-Thru Review

 Words Nicola Johnston

Drive-Thru is a punchy little short, which is boldly directed. The scenario follows two young men in a very sticky situation. They are being chased at speed through the streets of London and are on the run, from whom or from what we never find out. The action takes place inside their car, which adds to its claustrophobic atmosphere, it moves from being frantic and melodramatic to finding  a stillness, which lends to its change in pace letting a much more comic feel to come through. The film ends with a cliff-hanger that leaves you wanting to find out what the outcome might be for these two battered, blooded and rather hungry young men.
