Jimmy’s Hall - UK Premiere interviews inc. Ken Loach, Barry Ward, Andrew Scott, Paul Laverty & Rebecca O’Brien

Having already made quite a hit at the Cannes Film Festival Jimmy’s Hall made a journey closer to it’s Irish roots as the BFI hosted the UK Premiere and Premiere Scene’s Claire Bueno and Anthony Bueno looked forward to interviewing  director Ken Loach; actors Barry Ward and Andrew Scott; screenwriter Paul Laverty and producer Rebecca  O’Brien. Join us as we ask Ken Loach about the importance of giving his actors freedom of expression, Barry Ward about preparing for the historical figure of James Gralton of which there is very little written; Andrew Scott about playing a role of Father Seamus who was opposed to Jimmy’s free thinking; Paul Laverty about writing about the Irish folk hero and Rebecca O’Brien about re-building the Hall on its original site.

JIMMY'S HALL opens in cinemas 30th May
